Description
OS/2 halt when try to do any SMART request to boot IDE drive via SMARTCTL.EXE included in 1.8.7 distribution. This problem doesn't exist in earlier version 1.7.6.
In attached file IBMS506$.REP there's result of "copy IBMS506$ con" (equal in 1.7.6 and 1.8.7). Boot drive is hd2: Controller:4, Promise Ultra133 PATA (channel 0 / master).
If try to do "SMARTCTL.EXE -a hd2" or even "SMARTCTL.EXE -i hd2" when 1.8.7 installed, then OS/2 immediately halts in either GUI or CMD mode. There's no such problem when 1.7.6 is installed.
In attached file SMARTCTL.REP result of "SMARTCTL.EXE -a hd0" ... "SMARTCTL.EXE -a hd3" (with version 1.7.6 installed).

"DiskInfo cviI" output with 1.7.9 version installed
Normal version 1.7.9 (not 1.7.6 as described before).
DiskInfo.exe also halts OS/2 (even "DiskInfo i") after "3/s: (not present)" line, so I can attach output of "DiskInfo cviI" only when 1.7.9 is installed.
