wget: fails with libcx 0.3.1

Description

It may not be libcx, but POPUPLOG.OS2 says:

11-15-2016 13:13:31 SYS2070 PID 0087 TID 0001 Slot 00c9
J:\USR\BIN\WGET.EXE
WGET->LIBCX0._read
127

rpm says:

libcx-debuginfo-0.3.1-1.oc00.pentium4
libcx-0.3.1-1.oc00.pentium4

libcx says:

 9-25-16 20:35 17,207 124 libcx0.dll

(why no bldlevel strings for these things, anyway?)

wget.exe simply exits (cannot even run wget -V).

works here.

Severity: highvery low

You need the not yet released libcx. It's soon there.

comment:3 Changed 7 years ago by Lewis Rosenthal

LOL...

Shouldn't the spec show that requirement, then? Just curious.

comment:4 Changed 7 years ago by Silvan Scherrer

As soon as the new libcx is there the spec will have the req included. Until then it's working for some selected testers :) And hey it's in exp repo :)

Resolution: fixed
Status: newclosed

If this is working with the new libcx, and the dependency will be updated, we should close this as fixed (it's certainly valid, could not possibly "worksforme", not a "wontfix", and not a dupe).

If I had the new libcx, I would test, but I'm happy to wait. ;-)

Sorry for the noise!
