Description

Hi,

on my T60 (2007-C4U) with eCS 20rc1, latest Panorama, latest GenMAC and ACPI 3.5/3.0.5 resume does not work anymore!

Suspend works, but if I try to resume I get the gray screen with blinking cursor and sometimes a beep but nothing else. With ACPI 3.4/3.0.4 S/R worked exactly one time!

Hi,

I changed the config.sys:

RUN=X:\OS2\CMD.EXE /C X:\OS2\ACPIDAEMON.EXE

that was in there since RC1 to

RUN=X:\OS2\ACPIDAEMON.EXE

and now S/R works, even several times!

But the xCenter still has to be restarted manually after resume, otherwise the clock and all other monitors did not update anymore!

Thanks,

Thorolf

As I remember, you need replace one of dll for xCenter in S/R. eCenter work right. This problem is knowing. Need ask in xCenter conference about this.

Most important information:

============

RUN=X:\OS2\CMD.EXE /C X:\OS2\ACPIDAEMON.EXE

that was in there since RC1 to

RUN=X:\OS2\ACPIDAEMON.EXE

and now S/R works, even several times!

OK, now we are going make users run ACPIDAEMON using different method.

Q10: How to start ACPIDAEMON? A10: Run ACPIDAEMON from x:\startup.cmd or StartUp? folder

add to x:\startup.cmd

x:\OS2\ACPIDAEMON.EXE
