creating profile from connected hotspot causes interface reconfiguration

(I have not confirmed this to be an issue using the standalone XWLAN, only the widget.)

When selecting Public hotspot | Create connection profile..., and upon entering a name for the new connection, the widget reconfigures the interface. I have not determined whether the association is interrupted or just a new call to dhclient is made.

Expected behavior: Active connection should not be reconfigured nor should re-association be required. Instead, an entry should be (silently) added to the list of profiles.
