#11 | fixed | Hanging WPS - control dhclient via signals instead start/killing | ||
Description |
When showing the minimized dhclient window and then switching wireless off the WPS hangs when using the xcenter xwlan widget. Not with wlanstat.exe Currently dhclient is started with something like DosStartSession? (... "mode 85,95 & dhclient lanX" ...) with SessionType? = SSF_TYPE_WINDOWABLEVIO dhclient is stopped with DosKillProcess?. Maybe starting dhclient in another way will cure the WPS hangs. But beside that controlling dhclient via signals would be the more elegant way instead of thumb start/kill. No clue if this WPS hangs occurs on other machines too or only here. Volunteers please test. My systems xcenters does behave strange anyway. They (2 xcenters, one on top another one at bottom) does not get even closed completely when xwp restarting WPS. I do have zombie xcenter instances after wps restart which I've to close separately during xwp shutdown. |
