can I see uniaud log?

comment:2 Changed 18 years ago by anonymous

No, you can't. I put in a CM 8738 pci sound card and shipped the machine to the customer. Next time, I will obtain the uniaud.log file before shipping.

Is there anything else you are likely to need? This is the fourth such eCS-preloaded system we shipped, and likely not the last.

Thanks for working on UniAud?! You are making the platform even more worthwhile.

Are you still shipping such systems? Can you try with build from latest svn - ie http://download.smedley.info/uniaud32.zip

I don't have a system handy, but in an older system that had identical symptoms, the new build of UniAud? works fine.

It looks like the older system (Intel 865G) and the newer system (Intel 915G) both would not make sound until ACPI was installed. Unfortunately, the newer system was shipped before ACPI support was available.

So I guess we can close this ticket?

i865 does not have HDA, it's AC97. ICH6 is i915. That should be tested before closing this ticket.
