Description

I'm trying to use SAMBA in a large Windows network, which I believe to be a typical corporate situation.

First is that Network Neighborhood hangs. Second is that I can't find documentation for OS/2 SAMBA

I will install the latest versions and report in more detail what happens.

As soon as you have updated all components, let's start with the output in the debug window from EVFSGUI:

  • Menu "File - Global settings" (Disable all but the LAST one).
  • Now refresh network neighbourhood
  • Provide the content of the console window - this will give me an idea where browsing fails.

@Neil, when can we have the details finaly? as w/o them this ticket is absolutely useless. and i'm going to close it then.

still no details. and i tested the EVFSGUI in a real large network a couple of days ago. it worked almost flawless. so i close it.
