#270 closed defect (duplicate)

Uninstalling Firefox does not remove WPS object(s)

Description

Current Firefox test rpm apparently does not fully clean up upon uninstall, leaving the desktop object behind (currently, the only object created during install). This may be expected (I have not looked at the spec), or something may not be going as planned. My assumption is that there is a scriptlet missing (postun). If so, this is just a reminder. ;-)

this is strange, as the desktop object is not the only one created during install. did you have the right os2-rpm rpm installed? not that we search a ghost.

Here all Firefox WPS objects are deleted well when I delete firefox RPM (45.9.0-1). The sounds like a duplicate of #269 to me as I bet it failed for you because wps-object.exe was missing. So I'm closing this.
