The built-in default for configuration item bugtracker_url is http://yum.baseurl.org/report. Should this perhaps be changed in our distribution to http://trac.netlabs.org/rpm/? Maybe by putting it into the default yum.conf as shipped? In the future, GUIs may display this value in help popups (for example). |

Right now Python in import cuts names to 8.3 on OS/2. See http://trac.netlabs.org/rpm/browser/python/trunk/Python/import.c#L1516 for reference. This mostly works, but unfortunately in PyQt4 we have QtScript? and QtScriptTools?, which are both truncated to the same name. To solve such a situation a symlink would work. And we also need to redo the changes from above link. |

Many "native" OS/2 programs search their language files either where the binary resides or in DPATH. My suggestion would be to provide a directory %unixroot%\usr\share\os2\lang and put that into DPATH in rpm/yum. eComStation has an equivalent by having \ecs\lang and that added to DPATH, too. It is done similar for %unixroot%\usr\share\os2\help and HELP and %unixroot%\usr\share\os2\book and BOOKSHELF |
