#44 | fixed | qpdfview ships with an old fntcfg2.dll
Description |
People trying to use the fntcfg2.dll that ships with qpdfview with Mozilla apps experience a sys2070, eg 02-06-2013 16:31:59 SYS2070 PID cc97 TID 0001 Slot 00d3 C:\PROGRAMS\SEAMONKEY\SEAMONKEY.EXE XUL->FNTCFG2._FcConfigGetCurrent 127 as _fcConfigGetCurrent was a recent addition. Fix is to ship with the latest or suggest people download it from hobbes or netlabs where it is available as a wpi in incoming/mozilla |

#45 | duplicate | qpdfview prevents Seamonkey from running
Description |
I opened a pdf file using qpfview but found that I could not start Seamonkey browser with qpdfview running - this probably applies to Firefox as well. This problem was discussed briefly on os2world.com a few weeks ago, see http://www.os2world.com/forum/index.php?topic=50.0 It seems the "fix" is:- The problem is that the fntcfg2.dll shipped with qpdf is incompatible with SeaMonkey? and probably Firefox and Thunderbird 10.12. Fix is to replace it with the one meant for Mozilla, or remove it and have the Mozilla versions in your libpath. The freetyp2.dll for Mozilla is probably newer as well. As the build of qpdf that causes the problem is the latest I have to ask why it ships with at least 1 dll file that is known to cause the problem? Why not simply replace the 2 above dll files with the same dll files used by the Mozilla products? - It would certainly remove the potential for problems. |

#121 | fixed | qpdfview can not print files with umlauts in file name
Description |
qpdfview 0.4.16 with current netlabs-rel & netlabs-exp packages (running on heavily updated eCS2.1DE). File names with umlauts can not be printed. F.i. trying to print _test_ü.pdf leads to a dialog "Warnung - Konnte >>T:/Temp/_test2_ü.pdf<< nicht drucken". File attached. The same file copied to _test2.pdf prints fine. |
