Seems fixed, as discussed. The submenu is a different matter, and not a bug, in any case.

The only choice I see from the taskbar when groups are enabled when right-clicking a group icon is Close > and its two options. A separate issue might be the alignment of the text in the menu, though that may simply be as a result of my system font.

Close is the only option. I have fixed the spacing

Confirmed spacing fixed in 2.82l (standalone has different spacing than widget, unless it's just the widescreen display on which I'm running it - though the aspect ratio is correct).

What puzzles me about the widget, though, is why there is an lSwitcher widget submenu, when that menu itself may be accessed as the context menu in the blank space in the widget. This seems an unnecessary duplication.
