Description
I wanted to burn a CD with RSJ. RSJ only told me that it can't attach the CD Rom. Viewing CD's works with AHCI.
Then I changed to compatibility mode in Bios and renamed AHCI. And after a reboot writing CD Rom worked with Danis. Is there a trick to make it also work with AHCI?

It seems you are correct. RSJ must have some peculiar requirements. Thanks for reporting this. I'll have a look at it.

It works here... I do have danisatapi /rsj as well as the /s for the scsi enumeration for ahci.

See my attached file phenom4.... I got RSJ to work by placing AHCI.add after DaniS506. I get a message of some sort on booting I think means AHCI notes it's not getting the DVD drive, but not sure. Hard drives work fine as best I can tell. I hope that's the simple answer to the issue. Thanks. Matt Walsh

The first time since a new load I needed to burn a dvd. Setting up rsj, I add my drive to cddrv.inf so that I don't need lockcdr, I have only os2ahci.add and no ide nor atapi drivers. I use
os2ahci.add /n /f /s
apirout.sys
os2aspi.dmd /all
With this setup, rsj uses the scsi access and I successfully burn.
I saw #36 and I have daniatap.flt loaded. And I get the message the other reporter said:
CD Recorder not found or used by another App.
