ACPI 3.17 causes TRAP 000c

Description
I have recently aquired an IBM Thinkpad T43 (1871-W8M). After resolving a couple of issues where throttling and speed setting didn't work with 3.14 (fixed in 3.16), I tried 3.17 from ACPI317-2008-08-24.ZIP. I am getting a TRAP 000c on boot, at about the time that ACPI should be loading. Photo T43ACPItrap.jpg.

I tried ACPI 3.18S with this machine. It produces a TRAP 0008 when ACPI.PSD should tell me it's version information. Photo uploaded.

Tried ACPI 3.18FB. This one hangs when loading either OS2ASPI.DMD, or OS2DASD.DMD (random). I need to hold the power button for about 5 seconds to get it to go off. 3.16 still works.

This ticket is really old and not really relevant to the current software. If you still have problems with the current version, please open a new ticket.
Added acpi-log-Model-of-your-PC.ziq, running with ACPI 3.16.
Note, that this machine runs much better using: PSD=ACPI.PSD /SMP /APIC /EIS /VBE than it does with no parameters. It is not a multi processor machine.
