Description
(This issue continues with the build sent to me on 11/9.)
Appended program directory (location of efte2.hlp) to HELP and BOOKSHELF; rebooted.
Pressing F1 does nothing.
Help | Contents does nothing.
Alt-F1 (and Help | Keyboard) works as expected.

It probably depends on how you open eFTE (ie what it thinks its work directory is)I am planning on offering to add it to both path and dpath on install. I have seen this failure and the failure to load the history and desktop when starting from command line in a directory other than its own.

This works if the efte directory is in PATH and HELP also if started from an object that has efte's directory as the working directory. I still need to add DPATH to try to fix the history and desktop load issues.

This actually didn't work here. I thought it did because my build environment add efte to HELP and PATH. Adding it to DPATH doesn't help it find the the history or readme so I'm not adding it. I could solve this by changing efte to use the dpath but that would be for a later time.
Appending program directory to DPATH resolves this issue. F1 and Help | Contents works in eftepm and efte.
We discussed this, Gregg. You say that you don't have the program directory in DPATH on your system, but I seem to need it here.
