there are 2 UBS printers powered on

version: 185 (year 2012)

=> one of the printers is visible. but doesn't work.

additional info about 185:

  • ignore the message that only 1 printer is visible. it was detached. SO.. maybe both are visible.
  • ignore the message printers don't work. Legacy USB was enabled. Maybe of disable then the printers will work

State the printer models. Also, do you have everything properly installed ?

1) DEVICE=C:\OS2\BOOT\USBPRT.SYS (or whatever boot drive) 2) the port driver USBPRT.PDR in C:\OS2\DLL 3) a USB port installed for the printer in question:

a) select printer properties
b) "output port" tab (or the like)
c) if necessary do a "install new output port" and select "USB" port
