Description

This is a continuation of ticket #23 that has not resolved yet. After installing all file in your last build usbhcd187 I have retested it with my device, this is result for now: 1) Shutdown with power-off - OK 2) Printer - OK 3) Now I can attach my device(sdd, hard disk ecc.), but only one at a time. During the test I have noted that not always the external disk attach in many case I have to reboot the system and attach the disk that I use immediately after the wps come on, otherwise the disk don't attach and in one case the system stop with meter stopped and mouse inoperable, forcing to reboot same as point 4). 4) If I attach my external hard disk drive and boot or reboot the system, it stop booting prior to the message: DMT check your ini's file (this is the last message on screen before wps com up) and I have to detach the drive before to restart the system, cad is useless.

@Anchieri wouldn't it make sense to close ticket:23 then? as 2 tickets with almost the same stuff is never good.

You are wright, for me ticket #23 is closed but on that ticket I have attached many data on my PC and device that I don't want to resent. By now I have booted with only one external hard disk attached, the Lacie formatted with FAT32 mode, this disk as no problem, it's attached and operable after the wps is up. The case 4) in previous note, the external hard disk tested are formatted in JFS mode and the pc don't boot. Seem to me that LVM are problem with JFS formatted disk with USBHCD187. If I want attach this file after WPS is up and running, using the Refresh Removable Media the LVM come up and is not possible to close or kill it.

I have installed your last version USBHCD188.ZIP file and now I have partially resolved this problem, partially because if I detach my Trust CR-1350p 36-in-1 USB mini card reader (I attach the USBDOCK information for this device 058f6332.log file) I can attach the external HD JFS formatted file without problem, before or after booting, otherwise the system hang during boot. Therefore, for me, the problem is this devices that for now seem can't coexist with the external HD during boot.
