Description
After installing 184 I got repeated Trap 0008s which persisted even after backing off to version 183 and after rebooting.
System: T61 ECS21 ACPI 3.20.03
To trigger this I was running a batch process which uses ZIP to update .zip backups of my data directory trees.
I was unable to restore a running system without reverting to a partition backup of the ECS system
I attach two pictures taken with my mobile phone of trap screens. The first shows evidence of corruption (the trap screen contains faulty data)

I will try that, thanks.
Meanwhile I went back to 184 again (CAREFULLY!) and have so far had no problems. There could have been timing issue with the exact point when I inserted the memory stick.

Will try brandy2 tomorrow.
With brandy1 I got more trap 0008's with visible corruption.

I have now tried the processes that led to trap 0008 with USB 184 several times and everything still running fine.

Let's leave this ticket active for a week during which you should keep testing. Remember: please test on a backup system or have a partition restore and hand. Report back after a week. If you didn't run into any errors I am going to rerelease the fixed drivers.

Will do. I do have a partition restore available (and used it after the failure reported above)

I have used it at least once a day since the last report and had no problems (as my comment 8 days ago... saw no point in repeated negative comment).
