You need to download uniaud 1.1.4 RC3 from netlabs and check again. If you don't get any sound, download UniInfo.zip from same location, read the readme, and attach the log to this ticket.

Please test with unaiud32.sys from http://download.smedley.info/uniaud32-1.9.2.zip - preferably with unaiud16.sys from 1.1.4RC5

Thanks. I tried that. When I boot up, the opening screen shows and the opening sound .wav file plays. But then the system is frozen. No mouse or keyboard input is accepted, and I have to do a hard reset.

I also tried the uniaud32.sys from 1.1.4RC5, and that works better. The opening sound .wav file plays, but all the other sounds are truncated. That is, the beginning of the sound is heard and then is abruptly cut off.

Can you try with Uniaud 1.9.14? http://download.smedley.info/uniaud32-1.9.14.zip
