With eCS RC 5 testing it turned out cardinfo.dll would cause minstall to crash. We traced it back to the fact that it was on CD ROM. This problem also occurs with by giving a attrib +r to cardinfo.dll. Paul Smedley provided a cardinfo.dll compiled with GCC. According to him this might be an Open Watcom issue. |

If sound signal of the aplifier (analog) is on "Line in 1" and unimix control id 16 values set to 100 I hear the sound on the headphone. Same result with "Line in 3" and unimix control id 20 set. I tried to record both ways:
I played around with the unimix controls. Attached you see the file all_on_list.txt with all the controls I tried. Test result, log etc. all packed in the attachment. |

I am Using an ECS K7S5A with built in LAN and sound. When I load the drivers for the LAN only, the LAN works. When I load LAN with UNIAUD32.SYS and UNIAUD16.SYS, the LAN does not work (no error messages), but the sound seems to be fine (I have only tried a few files). They both share IRQ 10, which does not appear to be changeable. This PC is triple boot, eCommStation 1.2, Windows XP, and Ubuntu. Both the LAN and sound work in Windows and Ubuntu. Attached are the three files specified in the README.TXT. Greg Gilbert |
