Keywords: | prepended "C:" shares | Cc: | herwig.bauernfeind@… |
Description
When accessing an OS/2 Samba server from Windows clients using utilities such as SrvMgr?.EXE (from NT 4.0) or Control Panel - Adminstrative Tools - Computer Management (XP Pro)the shares show a prepended "C:" before the real path shared on the Samba machine.
2 pictures are enclosed to illustrate the problem, the one "Windows.jpg" shows how it should look like, the other "Samba" shows how it looks like for Samba shares.
The appropriate log is also enclosed.
This behaviour existed for all 3.0.25x builds I am aware of.
