freeze at pmshell with acpi 3.21.04 smp mode

asus m3a78-em video ati hd4670

note the log file with acpi /PIC

Please boot your system however you can, using ALT-F1 then F2 to boot to a command line if you need to.

Navigate to the Panorama directory on your boot disk.

Execute the command: PanoUtil? -d

This command should not produce any errors and should display the status on the screen that says the custom resolution logic is disabled.

Reboot and report if you still have the freeze at pmshell startup.

ok first try alt-f1 f2 panoutil -d freeze

reboot pmshell freeze

2 try alt-f1 f2 edit config.sys add /PIC

panoutil -d freeze

reboot have a desktop with /pic

panoutil -d give

ll custom resolution logic has been disabled on drive G:

Status on drive G:
All custom resolution logic is disabled.
No manual EDID has been set on drive G:
PM Resolution is set to: 1024x768 @ 16777216 colors

reboot with /pic desktop ok

The new version 1.02 should fix this problem.

Status: newclosed

No response, Very old version and ticket. Problem was fixed.
