#212 closed enhancement (fixed)

A hotkey to open/close the Navigation pane would be nice

Description

F9 seems otherwise unused and this is the hotkey used by Firefox for a similar function.

did you try qpdfview? there you can assign hotkeys

F9 would be consistent with FF & SM. I'd be curious to get Alex's take on that key insofar as CUA guidelines are concerned.

AFAIK navigation panes aren't a standard feature in OS/2 interfaces anyway, so I don't know of any particular standard for hotkeys. Probably best to do a survey of what similar applications use (on this and other platforms).

Fair suggestion, Alex. Thanks.

It's also a good opportunity to get the Lucide general discussion list moving again, as it's been quiet for some time. Let's see what the opinions are.

I have made it F9 unless someone objects.

Barring any vocal commentary to the contrary, I would think this is the current consensus.

Thanks, Gregg.
