Netbeui doesn't work between 2 nics using GenMac

Description
Using plain NETBEUI works fine from GenMac to any native driver; but between 2 nics using GenMac is doesn't work. The names of the other stations do show, but I get an error 53 trying to view known resources.
I have tried GenMac on Broadcom Gigabit, Intel Pro 100, Marvel, Nforce4, and Realtec nics - all show same behavior.
