#23 fixed HP LaserJet Professional P1606dn and lpd batchheizer
Description

Because HPLIP is not working with my printer (See ticket 15), I try foomatic from "cups-filters-1.0.61-os2-20141011.zip" with Cups 1.4.8 (eCS 2.2 beta 2).

Driver: HP LaserJet? Pro P1606dn Foomatic/foo2zjs-z2 (recommended) (grayscale, 2-sided printing) Connection: lpd://192.168.2.101/lp1

If I send a testpage, the printer seems to get data (lights blinking), put no output comes.

I think no other protocol (ipp / HP / Socket) works with my printer. Connected to the printer via Firefox: "SLP-config., LPD-Print and WS-Discovery" are all checked.

Any idea, what to do? Any other protokoll I should try? If so, which syntax?

#24 fixed libusb crashes system batchheizer
Description

On my new eCS 2.2 b 2 I will get my HP_LaserJet_Professional_P1606dn working. Via network are problems - so I tried USB.

  1. Printer not connected:

DEBUG: list_devices DEBUG: usb_find_busses=1 DEBUG: usb_find_devices=2

  1. Printer connected to a USB 2-Port.

DEBUG: list_devices DEBUG: usb_find_busses=1 DEBUG: usb_find_devices=3 direct usb://Unknown/(null)?serial=000000000QQ07LCPPR1a "Unknown" "Unknown" "Φ"

""

If I click Add Printer in "CUPS Administration (Local)" with connected USB-Printer the system crashes (black screen, reboot). Any idea?

#25 fixed Use of CUPS 2.0 Anchieri
Description

I have installed the Paul Smedley port of CUPS v. 2.0 (file: cups-2.0.0-os2-20141019.zip of 9391616 byte dated 1-19-15 10:12a) with HPLIP file, that I have installed under v. 148, and give a try to test it, but I receive the msg that I attach at this bug. I use ghostscript v. 8,71 as in v. 148. I use by now v. 148 that function in most case well for me, my printer is a HP PSC 1610 All in One that use HPLIP and now I'm willing to use v. 200, do you can aid me to achieve this goal? I thank you in advance for your help, G.M. Anchieri
