After double-clicking a digital media file to begin playback (MP3 or Ogg, in my testcases), selecting Open as > Volume from the object's context menu opens a volume slider control. The control is ineffective.
The same symptom is displayed when adjusting the volume slider in a Media folder while a file is playing.
Master volume works fine on this system.
System is a ThinkPad T520 using Uniaud for Intel HD audio with Intel ID 2805 mixer.
