Description
While testing for bug 4 I booted of the eCS 2.1 CD ROM with the OS2AHCI.ADD loaded.
When I then inserted a DFsee in the CD ROM drive and went to drive S: on the command line and typed DIR I still got to see the old content of the eCS install CD (eCS 2.1 CD #1).
I don't know if this is a problem of this computer specifically system or the AHCI driver in general.

Now the problem did not occur, go figure the demo effect. I had it twice yesterday.
Will keep an eye on it.

I cannot reproduce the problem.
I close this ticket for now; if the problem reoccurs, please reopen.

See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.

We do not do any caching in the driver (of course not); maybe a sense code mapping problem, i.e. UNIT ATTENTION not propagated properly. We'll check this one out.
Does it work if you issue a DIR with no medium inserted and then retry the DIR command with the new medium?
