Dual 2.8 G Xeon IBM ZPro.

Using special 3.03 build provided by Pasha system runs normally using /SMP switch. I tried 3.04 driver and system will lockup at start or just after wps starting.

Get 3.5 from berazone and try boot as psd=acpi.psd /SMP, if fail /SMP /!NOD, if fail psd=acpi.psd

Installed 3.05, results:

1. with /SMP no WPS - black screen when WPS should be loaded
2. with /SMP /!NOD no WPS - black screen when WPS should be loaded
3. psd=acpi.psd loads and runs

Sorry took so long to get back. I tried 3.06 but still have the same problem.

1. With /SMP system hangs during wps loading
2. Will not work with /APIC

I have tried all methods as advised by Pasha on netlabs IRC.

Still unable to start using /APIC but it seems the onboard NIC is the problem:

However, without the /APIC flag the system will not boot with /SMP. When PMSHELL starts the system showing a black screen which a ctrl+alt+del will reboot system or hangs with colored background which requires power off.

This happens with 3.04, 3.05, and 3.06. I am using a special version of 3.03 (first log) which is a pre-3.04 and it boots with /SMP switch.

Just as another note, this is an IBM ZPro but it seems the motherboard is actually a MSI:

Using a modified 3.06 version allows system to boot /SMP. Still unable to boot APIC.
