Description
I'm sitting here at Warpstock and have a Toshina notebook SM30X-144. eComStation 2.0 RC2 works on this notebook. Booted eCS 2.0 RC 3 with ACPI 3.04. Booted from CD mouse and keyboard work. Booted from hard disc keyboard and mouse are dead. Its clearly ACPI.
When the system is still loading basedev device drivers you can not even press CTRL ALT F10 anymore to make a memory dump. I made the attached logs by creating a script and running this from a floppy. An external USB mouse does work and thats how I started the script.
Every else works booted from CD. UNIAUD, wireless and video and UBS.
Attached is the output of PCI.EXE -d
AML output (iasl -d)
and output of acpica$
The output of scanner.exe (the version Rudiger send on 01 Nov 2007 to the acpi mailing list. This laptop is owned by Delfi Reinose. Bug reported by Roderick Klein

Explain please why the keyboard and mouse work booted from CD and don't work booted from hard disc ?
I was already expecting. But booting from hard disc with /!NOD option makes no difference. System is still toast.

I have't RC3. so I can't answer to your questions. Check diffirence in config.sys's. I repeat, for resolving problem need boot without acpi (check keyboard and mouse) and attach output from pci.exe

Ignore dump.txt. toshiba.txt is output of pci -d with ACPI loaded.
And you don't need RC 3 for testing sinc there is no ring 3 different compared to RC 2.

Replying to pasha:
I wait output from pci.exe without ACPI
Sorry it was late in the night :-) toshiba.txt is output of pci.exe -d WITHOUT ACPI loaded. So previous message was wrong :-)

The user doesn't have the subscription, we can't pass him the updated version.
try boot with /!NOD. If fail, try boot without acpi (check your HW) and create log from pci.exe.
