#472 fixed 318ND and nForce430 chipset eco losepete
Description

I applied 318ND files over previous acpi318 files on an eCS2.0RC7 system.

The system can boot using

PSD=ACPI.PSD /SMP /APIC /TMR

However this requires that the config.sys file does NOT contain any USB or Uniaud drivers - at least the NIC driver (nveth) loaded successfully.

I attach the logs generated on this boot as 318ND-log-Asus-M2N.ziq

I reset the config.sys line to

PSD=ACPI.PSD /SMP /APIC /TMR /CD /!NOD

I added USB and Uniaud drivers back to the config.sys then rebooted.

I have to report this has similar system "freezes" as experienced with all builds later than v3.14

Based on the first 2 "freezes" these seem to be around every 20 minutes and last for about 35 seconds.

The 3rd "freeze" turned out to be a crash as the system still had not recovered 5 minutes later; the mouse moved onscreen but could not display the Menu when clicking the Right Mouse Button or select anything, the keyboard was totally dead - could not even Ctrl-Alt-Del to restart the system.

None of the above "freezes/crash" are Floppy drive related - no floppy drive activity before or during these "freezes", no floppy LED, no floppy drive spin up noise.

#457 Unsupported Version 318PK and nForce430 chipset report eco losepete
Description

I applied ACPI318PK to an eCS2.0RC7 system that had ACPI3.17 installed.

With the config.sys line PSD=ACPI.PSD /SMP /APIC the system cannot boot with USB and Uniaud drivers installed so I REM'd those and rebooted.

I attach the logs generated after a successful (USB and Uniaud less) boot as acpi318PK-log-Asus-M2N.ziq

I am pleased to report that using the config.sys line PSD=ACPI.PSD /SMP /CD /TMR /APIC /!NOD both USB and Uniaud work fine - and the system is about as stable as with ACPI3.14; a big improvement over ACPI3.15/3.16/3.17

#19 wontfix 3945 device isn't initialized, when ACPI.PSD is loaded anonymous yoda
Description

My wlan device Intel 3945 a/b/g does not get initialized, when ACPI.PSD is loaded. If ACPI.PSD is not loaded, OS/2 initializes device correctly, and it works with GenMac? 2.1 driver. When ACPI.PSD is used, PCI output does not show any memmory address for the device, and it says bus access disabled. Result is that GenMac? can't access the device. Laptop is Acer Travelmate 4672
