Description |
Asus P5GC-MX/1333 motherboard Realtec RTL 8169 PCI lan card When using eshutdown with ACPI 3.14, the computer powers off, but then a few seconds later, it powers on again. Also tried c:\ecs\bin\PowerOff?.exe, but same problem as eshutdown. Tried disabling all wake on ... in BIOS, but it still happens. Made sure that wake on USB jumper is disabled on motherboard. |

#395 | unknown | Core 2 Quad computer boots again after Power Off
Description |
When I shutdown the new computer, it powers down, then starts up again two seconds later. It does this if I shut down using ACPI or APM or PowerOff?.exe. If I disable power off on shutdown, when I hit the power button, the system shuts down, then starts up two seconds later. If I boot MS-DOS, the system powers off and stays off. I have tried every combination of BIOS settings and motherboard jumper settings I can find, but the behavior is unchanged. This Computer is built from an ASRock G41M-LE motherboard with an Intel Q8200 Core 2 Quad CPU and 4 GB RAM. Apart from power off problems, the system works pretty well on all 4 CPU. The only other problem is occasional kernel trap on boot. I will try to capture that and attach digital photo later. logs from latest ACPI logs collector attached. |

#526 | fixed | ACPI boots, but quickly sets both CPU to 12%
Description |
This is Thinkpad T61p with eCS 2.1, and the computer boots OK (most of the time), but then it quickly sets both CPU to 12% which makes things very slow. Once in a while boots in a state where sounds won't play. Once in a while boots with no problem. |
