#30 new defect
COPY /S does not transfer starting directory EAs to target
Reported by: | Lewis Rosenthal | Owned by: | |
---|---|---|---|
Priority: | minor | Milestone: | Version-3.10 |
Component: | Base | Version: | 3.08 |
Keywords: | Cc: |
Description
Copying subdirectory tree does not transfer EAs from top-level source to top-level target. Thus:
[j:] copy c:\MMOS2\IMAGES\* IMAGES\ /s
where c:\MMOS2\IMAGES is:
6-03-15 11:12 <DIR> 548 ____D IMAGES
yields a target of:
6-27-15 15:50 <DIR> 0 ____D IMAGES
Note that XCOPY does transfer these starting EAs.

No worries, Andi. FWIW, notifications seem to be working (today).
And confirmed that this ticket is indeed still valid (just tested in a fresh eCS 2.2b2 VM with 3.08 update 3).

Sorry Lewis for hijacking your ticket. But you may know netlabs had problems with ticket change notification since ages. With this comment I like to test if Adrians new server installation has finally solved this issue.
