Is this just a reminder for the next build? Best I can tell, 3.08 is your build and version.h has never had this value in the depot.

FWIW, my release process always includes

p4 opened
wmake -a

This ensures that the release is built from submitted files and that everything gets built.

Yes just a reminder and a minor issue I discovered with 3.08 I've packet together 2 years ago.
