Description
Hi. I would like to request the following improvement on the messages on boot.
For the UNIAUD32.SYS /V (only for /V, quiet boot by default is fine) The message says something like:
Universal Audio Driver for OS/2 v2.02.05-SVN Based on ALSA 1.0.21 Copyright 2005-2010 Netlabs http://www.netlabs.org Copyright 2000-2010 The ALSA Project
Intel 82801AA-ICH with STAC9700,83,84 at irq 5 Detected Mixer: SigmaTel STAC9700,83,94
Can it be possible to change /V to something like this?
UNIAUD32: Universal Audio Driver for OS/2 v2.02.05-SVN UNIAUD32: Based on ALSA 1.0.21 UNIAUD32: Intel 82801AA-ICH with STAC9700,83,84 at irq 5 UNIAUD32: Detected Mixer: SigmaTel STAC9700,83,94
I think it will be good since you will know that the boot message is coming from UNIAUD32.SYS when it loads.
I don't think it will be rude to remove the copyright things because all the copyrights are on the readme files and project page. There is no law that says that those information needs to be on the boot process of OS/2.
Regards

Sorry, Something went wrong with the "row jump" of the messages.
I was suggesting to change this:
For this.
Let's hope it shows fine this time.
