looping and static sounds

I know, the readme says that looping is a fault in SND.DLL. But static and looping occurss even when running MMFIX.EXE. This is new hardware, a Lenovo ThinkCentre M32 thin client.

I doubt it is related but VPC had similar problems due to the use of small buffers. I have a version on netlabs with a workaround for it that you could try in case it is the same issue: ​ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/incoming/uniaud32-vpc.zip

I tried the uniaud32-vpc.zip, but my copy of uniaud16.sys does not match the uniaud32.sys in the zip file.
