distorted sound with beta driver

Description
This happens on fresh new hardware, the Uniaud drivers both load successfully with no error and the application can access the audio device. Playing mp3 audio files e.g. using PM123 works but the audio output is distorted. It seems that frames are partly repeated. Playing the files with mplayer doesn't have this repeating issue but still distorted sound. A quick test with the same setup on hardware that is 5 years old doesn't show this behavior. The log files are attached.
