firefox icons don't show

After installing and attempting to run Psi the icons on the web pages displayed by firefox display a large red bullet (ball). The underlying function still works properly.

Could you please give me more details? Tell me step by step what are you doing and please attach a screenshot of the result.

P.S. When creating tickets or commenting them from under the guest account, you can change the username to whatever you want. In this case, it'll be possible to speak to you by that name...

Also, please note that there is a single ticket for submitting bug reports related to Psi: ​http://svn.netlabs.org/qt3/ticket/25. There is no need to create a separate one.

I installed Firefox 1.5.0.5 hoping it would fix my problem with the icons. It did not. As an example: none of the icons placed on this page between the "Comment (you may use WikiFormatting here):" and this box are showing but when I move the mouse over them I see the text and the url that would be selected if I click on it.

I still cannot understand how Psi is related to this... Do you mean that icons disappear when Psi is running and reappear again when it's closed? Or do you mean that they have disappeared "forever" after you run Psi only once? Once again, please more details.

I don't understand the relationship either. I have since removed all of the plugins and have changed the file name of the config.xml to config.xm_ in the home folder to prvent it from being found.

I have an original installation of firefox 1.0 and when I run that it appears to be unaffected.

Al, please try the new Beta 1 to check whether the problem is still there. I'm closing this ticket for now. Further problems should be reported to ticket:25.
