Description
If a NewView WPS program object already exists in eCS 1.2 NL's Hulpprogramma's folder, and is known as Help bekijker, then the installer creates an English program object in <WP_DESKTOP> instead, and deletes the program object installes by eCS 1.2 NL.
Looking at all settings, there was no need to update any setting of the existing object, including the name.
Perhaps creating an icon can be switched off by default if the WPS program object of any of the OSes (OS/2, eCS 1.x, eCS 2.x, ArcaOS) already exists?
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
The installer should offer a checkbox indicating whether the object will be (re)created or not.
I can take a look at its default selection logic, but keep in mind there is no easy way to determine whether a WPS object exists or not.
