Description
While not critical, the current code is several revs back, from 2010. Latest source tarball is available from http://www.ijg.org/files/.

http://www.libjpeg-turbo.org/About/Jpeg-9 because of all the above we will not update the jpeg8 port to jpeg9 in the near future. I might consider updating to latest 8d

Thanks for the update, Silvan. After reading the above, this makes good sense to me.
Closing this, as we have already built against 8c using rpm. When and if 8d is available, we'll upgrade to that.

why not just using the rpm version? I know it's at 8c, but we will update it soon.
