Guys...I think I was the one to report this...the current last build works fine here. No issues remain, I would like to suggest we close this ticket as Resolved.

...specifically, this involved moving the mouse pointer over the Desktop icon in the corner (first icon in the list). Confirmed this is fixed with 2.81k (no idea as to the changeset).
Leaving open, though, as this wasn't my ticket. Maybe there's something else which I am not seeing. I did test with a complete reboot and fresh start from my XWP Startup folder, though.
