Description
Just upgraded to:
4OS2 3.05A OS/2 Version is 4.50
4OS2 Revision A (162, Feb 7 2010 17:27:09) OS/2 Revision A
(not sure what "OS/2 Revision A" is, though...) ;-)
Anyway, at the 4OS2 prompt, I typed, "option <Enter>" and when the configuration notebook appeared, I clicked Help. NewView 2.18.1 opened up and immediately displayed the contents on the left, a white page on the right, and a popup message with the above text.
Lewis
PS - Not sure which component1 is and which component2 is in Trac, here...

Seems there were never any help for option2.exe implemented. I've setup the pages in the .ipf file but run out of enthusiasm to fill it with the proper links to the .INI File Directives. It's no fun to edit this >21500 lines file. Did I ever mention I hate this IPF syntax?
At least the "Text not found" window do not popup anymore ;-) The (slightly) updated help file will be in the next release.

That was there at least since 3.04 back in the year 2002 which is the oldest version I've here. Seems to be one of the first versions from Michal. Can you check with an older original JP Software version?
Same as with 3.04. Think at the time JP Software did this, they did not know about NewView. And maybe NewView is not 100% compatible with view.exe. Will have a look at it if there's some time left ;-) Thanks for reporting.
Hope someone volunteer jumps in who can answer this ;-)
