Description
I have just installed the GA version of WV. It plays some .WMV files I've downloaded much better than any version I have tried before. (There are audio synch problems, and picture breakup, but pictures usually recover.) Thanks! However, I downloaded the first two .AVI files from the Netlabs Sample directory, and neither one will play. I get the message "Cannot init video".
I have WV GA, the new LIBC06 (copied the DLL's to the WVGUI directory), WarpOverlay, and the Wincodecs_New and Odin installed. I am using a fairly recent build of SNAP graphics. I have UniAud installed for sound support.
I do not see any log files in my F:\WVGUI directory - maybe I don't know where to look, or do I need to tell WV to write a log file?

You were right, of course.
I went back and got the last .WPI version of Odin, and installed that. The .AVI still didn't work, so I checked the Wincodes, and sure enough, I had forgotten to copy them to F:\ODIN\SYSTEM32, and to copy SYSTEM.INI to F:\ODIN.
After doing that, I played one of the .AVI's, and it played just fine!
Thanks for your help, and I apologize for not doing all my homework before I asked for your help. I consider this problem solved.
