Description
With the new release of WVGUI (1.0RC1) I can choose between DIVE and SNAP for video output. I have SNAP professional 3.0.0 installed. If I select SNAP I only see a black screen, though the audio plays OK. If I select DIVE everything is OK.

I also have this problem. I'm running in 32-bit mode on an ATI Radeon 8500. Snap overlay works fine with EmperoarTV. WV log contains this:

I think snap 3.0.0 is too old test overlay with gactrl
comment:5 by , 19 years ago
I'm using a later version of Snap than 3.0.0; the gactrl overlay tests work fine (except in 24 bit mode); Snap overlay works fine with EmperoarTV. It doesn't work with WarpVision - I just get a black window. If the window is larger than the video picture (different aspect ratio) there is a very slightly lighter area where the video should be. Adjusting the brightness/contrast/gamma etc. controls in the settings makes no difference.

Upgrading from Snap 3.1.2 to 3.1.3 has solved the problem for me - WV now works fine with snap overlay, both the original snapov dll and the one from bug #9. Thanks.

Closing the bug If someone still has problems with wvgui under latest SNAP 3.1.4 ang higher please. make sure that gactrl overlay test works for you and then open new ticket Thanks
I had this at first... I found that in my case the problem was that I was set to 24 bit color. Changing to 32 bit color fixed the issue for me.
