Description

I have installed a registered copy of WVGUI 1.01 on eCS 1.1 and tried to use the webcam module. USBRESMG detects the camera (cheap USB Sweex model) but I cannot get it working by playing with the WVGUI settings. Checked the documentation but it does not seem to contain anything about camera usage.

Can you please add some info about it in the help? A list of supported camera's, other hardware/software requirements and basic usage/setting information would be helpful.

You can find a list of supported hardware at ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/wvgui/samples/wcamlist

The supported cameras are mostly based on Philips USB1 chipsets. Webcams for USB2 only are not supported. Supported cameras must be connected to an USB1 host controller, or directly to the root port of an USB2 host controller. Connecting it to an USB2 host controller over an USB2 hub might crash the usb drivers.
