Description
eCS 2.1; upgraded USB stack to 191.
Configured Brother 4070CDW color laser for connection via USB.
USB port properties shows printer connected and online, and USB device monitor recognizes printer being connected.
However, if the system is booted and the printer is subsequently connected (hot plugged), even though the device monitor sees that it has been connected and the port shows as online (as above), data fails to go to the printer, and almost immediately upon sending a print job the "Abort, Retry" message pops up.
Examining the spooler does indeed shows jobs coming into it but not going out for service.
Leaving the printer connected and powered on, and rebooting the workstation causes print jobs to be sent to the printer.
Disconnecting the printer and reconnecting results in jobs no longer able to be serviced.
Expected behavior: USB printers should be hot-pluggable.
