Description

I tried 1.87 and both my USB harddisks were working like with 10.162 EHCD (patched drivers by Rüdiger Ihle). With 1.88, my harddisks are not found (I don't have other USB devices attached).

System is eCS 1.2R, @#IBM:14.104a#@_W4 IBM OS/2 Kernel

AMD Athlon 1200MHz (twelve year old single core CPU system), 768 MB RAM

PSD=OS2APIC.PSD (but neither ACPI nor APM installed).

Gigabyte Mainboard with AMD-756 Chipset (System hangs on USB MSD access with the IBM drivers and onboard USB 1.1), so I'm using an addon-card with USB 2.0 and only the EHCI drivers.

For these test logs the onboard USB is still disabled in BIOS, but the drivers are loaded for all physically existing USB host controllers.

try doug.zip from Ticket #45

I tried USB189.zip and Doug.2.zip (the complete package), but nothing changed, the external harddisks are not seen.

I also have the problem from ticket #49, the drivers (only tested with those from Doug.2.zip) turn off the integrated USB hub in my LCD.

I tried USB190.zip and also blandy.zip. No success with my hard drives :-(.

comment:6 by Lars Erdmann, 12 years ago

Try blandy2.zip from ticket #49 (USBD.SYS) and latest anchieri.x.zp from ticket #54 (USBEHCD.SYS).

Get 10.191 from Hobbes. Try different values for the /S: switch for USBEHCD.SYS (see readme.txt).
