#33 | fixed | 2 ECHI sometimes doesn't work
Description |
This is a machine with Intel H55 chipset, and it has only two ECHI adapters, no UCHI or OCHI. So I put two instances of USBECHD.SYS in config.sys. Result: sometimes the front USB ports work, sometimes the rear USB ports work. USBHCD version 10.186. Once working, system performs well, and no traps or problems are observed. Sometimes with KVM a keyboard/mouse that was working won't work when I switch back to the computer. Sometimes switching from front to rear USB ports fixes this, sometimes not. I will add files as described in the readme when I get a chance. Leave a note if you'd like any more information. |

Description |
When ejecting a harddisk in the ICY box (160 GB, FS:JFS) the window as attached appears. After this the system does not recognize my WD Book. After rebooting access to the WD Book no problem. Running ECS 2.1 on a T43 testing USBHCD186. |

#31 | wontfix | trap 8 (corruption type)
Description |
I have experienced another of the trap 8's where thetrap data is corrupted. Unfortunately I do not have a trap dump as I ha switched it off. Will switch it back on again in hope. I am posting it here even though there may be no USB connection as I posted here before. Sequence: Using version 186; USB widget present. use ZIP to update a lot of files on HDD from ZIPs on a USBstick. remove the stick suspend some hours later resume do NOTHING using USB (!!) do something using a DOS process; close it spontaneous trap. Lets hope I can get a future dump and it tells something. |
