I'm getting a TRAP0008 too, with an NVidia NForce2 chipset. Works fine with Uniaud_latest dated 18-08-2005. No ACPI driver installed. In fact, it is a double trap: it first traps in a module, then I get another trap. Removing uniaud16.sys and booting with Ctrl+F4, trap occurs just after uniaud32.sys is loaded. Hardware is:

I can make just one recording with \MMOS2\MMPLAYER\WEPM.EXE. After having closed the session, the sound volume drops about 95 % and wepm.exe doesn't work at all anymore.

Only way out is a reboot.
