#175 fixed Intel HDA eCS Silver total freeze BoldosOneCS
Description

Hello there,

with the test builds of uniaud the situation with sound play got a lot better, although ALL test versions (including the original Silver version) I'm experiencing one fatal flaw:

The System will freeze completely in approx 45-55mins of non-interrupted sound play (movie [mplayer] or TV [EmperoarTV]).

If the sound "stream" is interrupted (by pause, swithing to other TV channel in Emperoar, playing various MP3s in Z) the problem does not occur. It is also not dependent on ACPI, happens without ACPI as well.

On boot, the souncard is detected as Intel ALC1200.

Note: the pci.log is not fully complete, since pcisniffer fails to finish its job each time. You will find the info about my souncard in the log though.

My system is a MSI notebook GX623X-026CZ.

Please let me know should you need more info. Thx.

#174 too-old No sound - eCS 2.0 Silver (RC7) David Azarewicz Snowhog
Description

Installed to a Toshiba Satellite P105-S6147 intel Pentium Dual-Core T2060 processor. Audio device in the laptop is an Integrated 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)

ACPI support was installed with /SMP and /EIS options. System boots fine - keyboard is a bit 'slow' and the mouse (USB) a bit 'jumpy', but I do not have working sound. Looking for a solution or directions/suggestions on what to look for/at or do to get my sound working.

Not sure here, what 'Version' applies to, so I may have that incorrect.

Thank you.
