#188 | worksforme | Trap0008 with uniaud194-211 or 1924 | ||
Description |
Motherboard: Tyan S2895 Thunder K8WE with 2 X Opteron 275 Dual Core CPUs. The audio in use is: Bus 0 (PCI Express), Device Number 4, Device Function 0
I am running eCS 2.0 RC6 with the 14.104a#@_SMP kernel in single processor mode. CONFIG.SYS: PSD=ACPI.PSD /APIC /CD /TMR /!NOD UniAud? 1.1.4 works. I have tried Uniaud194-1924.zip which gives the following within 2 seconds after loading uniaud16.sys: Trap 0008 ERRCD=0000 ERRACC= ERLIM= EAX=0001174C EBX=f96f01c0 ECX=00011b34 EDX=00000001 ESI=ffdc221c EDI=0001174c EBP=0000000c FLG=00210006 CS:EIP=0168:fff39a20 CSACC=c09b CSLIM=ffffffff SS:ESP=00000000 SSACC=0093 SSLIM=000001ff DS=0160 DSACC=c0f3 DSLIM=ffffffff CR0=8001001b ES=0160 ESACC=c0f3 ESLIM=ffffffff CR2=fa1d4ffc FS=0000 FSACC= FSLIM= GS=0160 GSACC=c0f3 GSLIM=ffffffff ... Location ##0168:fff0f667 - 000f:e667 60000,9084 Internal revision 14.104a_SMP Uniaud194-211.zip and eCS 2.0 GA give similar results (Trap 0008) although I have not recorded the actual trap screens. I have attached the unilog output from the WORKING configuration using Uniaud 1.1.4 since I can't get much after the Trap0008. Is the presence of multiple CPUs or the use of the SMP kernel causing this? Is there a PCI-X (HD) card that is supported? The only slots I have available are PCI-X. Is there any additional information that I can provide? Thanks! |
