Default name for the logfile nmbd.exe creates should be log.nmbd, not log.nmbd.exe

The logfile appears as a binary file on the WPS because the .exe ending.

I don't see this problem here - my log file _is_ log.nmbd

The logfile depends upon how the daemon is started:

nmbd.exe --> log.nmbd.exe

However

nmbd --> log.nmbd

The same applies to smbd.exe and winbindd.exe
This is obviously an unusual, but normal behaviour.
